Job Description:

This psychologist’s role would be to provide testing interpretation reports. This role may be available to conduct evaluations, (psychological, psycho-sexual, diagnostic assessments, risk assessments, intake evaluations) for the agency to inform treatment processes including treatment needs, level of intensity and risk to the community.  This role would help with providing oversight to our assessment procedures for efficiency and incorporation of the most current practices.  The successful candidate will also stay current on new and updated testing instruments as well as evidence based practices related to evaluations and assessments.  There may be opportunities for this individual to engage in clinical activities such as group and individual therapy.  Project Pathfinder continues to be committed to diversity and expand its client base therefore assessments will likely vary and offer a stimulating and energizing environment.

 

Primary Tasks include but are not limited to:

 

  • Testing Interpretations/Psychosexuals only
  • Supervises and reviews Testing Interpretation reports
  • Consulted for test determination (both on cases and agency needs)
  • Supervises assigned supervisees as needed
  • Other: Available for individual consults
  • Court Subpoenas
  • Prepare for case
  • Provide testimony
  • Provide report
  • Supervise clinician who is subpoenaed

Minimum QUALIFICATIONS:

A doctorate from an APA accredited program and internship

License in the state of Minnesota

3-5 years’ work experience in mental health, criminal justice or other related organization is preferred
