The Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking to fill a permanent full-time Clinical Program Therapist 2 – Sex Offender Treatment (CPT) position

Job Duties:

CPT2 positions conduct assessments of offenders to determine their initial amenability to treatment and assist in assigning offenders to therapeutic programming so that new program admissions are screened, oriented and assigned to appropriate programming.

Provide group therapy and conduct psycho-educational programming based on structured curriculum, ensuring that information essential to facilitate therapeutic change is provided to offenders in a consistent and professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related Behavioral Science or Social Science program and one year of post-degree experience providing clinical services, including individual and group therapy, to clients with sex offender, mental health and/or chemical dependency issues; OR a Master’s degree in one of the above degree programs.
